Have bought many. They are a bit pricey but BBB has a 1/2 price clearance sale...well worth it

I would like these more if you could use the same feature all my other battery candles have in the remote control ability. You have turn these on from the bottom of the candle.

I LOVE these Luminara candles!! I have tried a variety of other brands of candles with the moving flame, but nothing comes close to the realistic look of these Luminara candles. Others have a ticking sound as the flame moves, which ruins the realistic effect - how many real candles tick?😉 And with some other brands the light shines through nearly the whole candle stick itself - how many real candles glow half way down the candle when the flame is above the candle? And they also tick! Since receiving these Luminara candles, I've gotten rid of all the other inferior candles. Yes, Luminara candles are more expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for, and these are worth every penny. I just wish they came with candle sticks, especially since they are so expensive. And it would be nice if the timer feature was longer than 5 hours, especially in the winter when it gets dark so much earlier. Some of the other brands were 6 and 8 hours. But those shortcomings don't trump the realistic effect of these candles. They're still my favorites.

There are incredibly realistic tapers. They eliminate the fear of an open flame. I have them on my hutch cabinet with very old and valuable items

I love these and the pillar candles I've been buying for the past few years. Only problem, last time I was at BB&B, their stock was getting low; I hope you are not discontinuing this product.. they are so nice. I couldn't find a remote either; mine is working fine, but wanted to have another on hand.

Luminara provide the most realistic artificial flame of any artificial flame candle. I have been a fan since they were first available on a television shopping network. They have self timers The also can be turned on and off simultaneously with remote. A bit more pricey than other artificial flame candles but worth it.

I purchased 5 sets for my wedding. What a disappointment when I received them and not even on set worked. I changed batteries thinking it may be the batteries. I purchased another 12 sets and still waiting for them to arrive before I realized the first 5 don't even work. Is this why they are on clearance?
