Man, Meat, Legend Cutting Board in Maple

After I received this cutting board, I liked it so much. but I used this cutting board for about a week, and only washed it once in the dishwasher. But the cutting board broke, and it broke. What's the problem?

As other reviewers have also said, the wood and craftsmanship of the product is very poor and not satisfactory. This purchase was made around Christmas time of 2021 and it is now April of 2022 and there is already a 2 splits along the edge of the cutting board along two different sections of the glue seams. Because of where the splits happened any fluids that drain into the well on either side of the tray (splits are at opposite ends along where the wood pieces meet) just leaks directly onto the counter, defeating the purpose of the catch well along the edge. All care instructions were followed, including keeping the board supple w/ mineral oil and hand washing only. The actual design work and customization is great, but that doesn't really matter if the board itself is of such low quality that the function of the item is lost. I cannot recommend purchasing this product and I would suggest seeking out a true professional wood artisan or craftsman to do this type of customization work on a quality piece of food-grade lumber because it's a "you get what you pay for" type of problem where these boards are mass produced and there is no warranty offered for material defects because they are customized. I find this very unfortunate because I love the design of the board and really thought the customization was done very cleanly and it looks very nice. Value 2/5 stars, quality 1/5 stars and durability 1/5 stars.

Best gift ever. I gave this to my son for his birthday. He says it’s the best gift I’ve ever given him. He loves to barbecue and has this displayed in his kitchen all the time. The turnaround time was very quick and the tray was beautiful.

Bought this in July, was oiled with danish oil to keep in prestine condition and the board cracked after one use.!!! Really sad this item has no warranty because it sure needs one. I have another wood board that we have used nd treated in the same manner that is still in great shape and it is 5 years-old! Do not buy, you will be disappointed.

I bought t this customized cutting board as a gift. The board was used ONCE, washed and dried carefully and stored flat. The board is now split on one side and is useless. I understand a customized item is not returnable, but I'd like a replacement or refund immediately.

While it is a beautiful board I missed the description indicating the writing on the board is engraved. Now I'm concerned the little crevices could harbor bacteria.
