Marc Anthony® 8.4 oz. Instantly Thick + Biotin Plump & Lift Shampoo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is for folks that already have decently thick hair: I did not like how this shampoo made my hair feel at all. It left thick deposits that were hard to smooth out while styling. My hair felt greasy and textured afterward which I didn’t really appreciate right after washing it. I suppose that it did make my hair feel more thick, so it could be desirable for someone with very thin hair if you don’t mind the greasy/texturized feel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've liked the Marc Anthony Instantly Thick + Biotin Shampoo. It's a great consistency & smells good. I think it could lather a bit more - i felt i had to use a bit more or squeeze product out 2x to wash my hair. and while my hair isn't fine, I liked that it made my hair a little bit thicker and it had more life. I didn't notice if my hair ever got greasy a couple of days in too. Its also affordable on ulta, too. I have semi-permanent color in my hair (blue at the moment) & I don't think this shampoo is color-safe because color had come out. after a month with blue, the shampoo faded my root area the most to a very light, faded teal, the mid-shaft teal, while my ends have more of a faded royal blue & this is with washing my hair no more than 2x a week. So if you have bright color, I'd use something else or use this sparingly when you need a boost of thickness. Also, it says in the ingredients it has a wheat protein in it to help with the thickness of your hair, so I don't know if this means that those who are gluten-free should do their own research on this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was a huge win for me! I have very fine hair and this product really made my hair feel thicker and fuller. It surprisingly also gave me some volume! Definitely very impressed and will continue use this line! It had a nice scent too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Full disclosure: I wash my hair every 7-10 days, so someone who uses this more often may have better results! This shampoo has a great scent and texture. I like the packaging, it stays clean in the shower and the cap on the bottom makes it easy to get the product out. After getting my hair towel & air dried, and in combination with the conditioner, it really does feel fuller and has more volume! I've noticed especially when pulling it back into a ponytail that it doesn't feel limp or thin. I did notice that the shampoo feels like it strips a lot out of my hair. I definitely needed to use the conditioner to make sure it got rehydrated and felt softer and smoother, along with the fullness and volume.

Not sure why I received thus VoxBox since I have answered any questions about my hair type stating it's curly and thick. Otherwise it's a good product, just not for my hair needs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this shampoo and conditioner are cruelty free! Unfortunately this did no favors for my thick wavy hair. Despite having thick hair I feel my hair falls flat quite easily, so I was hoping this product line would help. I realize it says it’s specifically for thin hair so possibly that’s the issue here. My hair wasn’t any more voluminous and it did seem slightly more frizzy after using all the products together (shampoo, conditioner, styling cream). I just think it wasn’t for my hair type honestly. The price point is also great!
