My a little over 2 year old grandson loves these. Works on them himself and then we talk about what he sees. I have bought a bunch and they are all good and the reusable part is great!

My grandson loves playing with water! This was a great way to include water play with learning letters,sounds,and practice writing letters. We used it in the kitchen. I wouldn't take it in the car as a steady place to work was better.The letters to trace over might be a bit larger for early writing practice.
