This product is total garbage. If yoy want it to vacuum dog hair. Good luck doing it. Without hurting your back. Yoy will have arms of steel that amount of force you need to push it and pull it. It is good on hard wood floors and furniture. That's it

nice and light, No Prop 65 real danger as with Sears vaccum

I bought my Compact C1 vac about 5 years ago, and LOVE IT! It is quiet, lightweight, with the most useful features of any vac I have had in over 50 years. I have had several expensive brands that cost a lot more money, but none I liked as well as this small vacuum. The extra swivel attachment the sales lady recommended is what I like the most. The floor one that came in the box has never been used. I clean walls, baseboards, and floors so fast. Love, Love, love it!!!

Saw my friends had the same vacuum so I also bought this. Great suction even on low setting. Hepa filter is important. Easy to maneuver as the machine follows behind you and you are not holding a trigger down (Dyson) in order to use. Had used another friend’s Dyson portable, that constant pull trigger causes RSI. Meile is pricey but I know it will last. Buy the vacuum bags when they are on sale.

The vacuum came in completely not operational without control knob. I had to return one and will try another attempt.

I bought this product less than a year ago. The suction disables now within 3 minutes and the vacuum overheats within 5 minutes and turns off. After 30 minutes or so, it will turn back on. Useless. And not even a year old. I won't buy another Miele. Too bad I couldn't give this a zero.

There are 3 Miele canister vacuums in our extended family (2 in mine - one upstairs, one downstairs). They’re worth every penny tho there are a couple downsides. Our thoughts: we love how lightweight, portable, convenient, super quiet, and efficient these are, particularly for hardwood / tile floors. The carpet attachment doesn’t work that well for pet hair on carpet but it does work on low-pile Persian rugs. Super easy to change out the vacuum bags but they aren’t usually full when the indicator says they are. Love the cord retraction system - step on a button and the cord magically rewinds itself! Downside - the new version has a hard surfaces attachment that isn’t quite as efficient as the older (2008-ish) models. Overall, this deserves at least 5 stars (in some ways 10!), and it’s well worth the spend, especially on sale!

I ordered the Miele vacuum and the first one didn't work, I called Miele customer service and the German gentleman suggested I bring it back to the store and they would fix it. I laughed and returned the vacuum and ordered another one. I receive the second vacuum and it didn't work. Unless you want to pay $1,000. dollars for another model, don't buy the Miele compact C1 pure suction vacuum. The C1 is produced in China and the Miele company has no oversight in the product . Don't waste your time, Miele doesn't care about yours.
