Perfect item
I love a double towel bar, but this one is designed badly. The bars are square and very sharp on all four edges. When you slide your towels on and off, it scrapes them and frays the towels. I would return it, but I already put the molly bolts in my wall.

The space between the racks seemed small. I couldn't easily put bath towels in the back. I put it up for about a week, then had it taken down.

The space between the wall and the bar is approximately 2.75 inches, and the space between the two bars is approximately 2.25 inches. If you want to learn some new curse words, by all means purchase this. Mounting this apparently simple fixture to my wall was agonizing. First, the paper template for marking the needed holes was all crumpled up, and had to be flattened to get any accuracy. Then it turns out the holes on the template were NOT correctly spaced. So I ended up with a set of holes in the wrong place. What is the point of a template that is incorrect? So I had to determine the correct spacing myself, AND fill in the wrong holes. THEN (!) the mounting brackets are of such low quality that they buckled when fastened to the wall, and I could not attach one end of this fixture to the bracket. I had to bend the bracket away from the wall. Anyway, ZERO stars due to installation woes.
