Mr. Coffee® Cafe Barista Espresso Maker

We bought our first Mr. Coffee Espresso a month ago. Our family is a heavy coffee drinking group. Making anywhere between 4-10 large cups a day. I fell in love with the machine and it helped us to save money. We also needed to work with customer service to replace the grounds/shot making cup (sorry not a barista). It was a simple fix and customer service was great and easy to work with. The problem is the milk/steaming reservoir is of poor quality. Despite washing it several times a day. The reservoir top/lid has too many crevasses where the milk steams up in to, gets trapped and starts to mold. I finally got tired of still smelling the mold after washing it several times in a row that I unscrewed the lid. The way the lid is designed, there is NO WAY I was going to get all the milk chunks out.

I like the size of the water reservoir and it was easy to put in the espresso and tamp it down The frother can be a bit messy and it doesn’t froth oat milk as well as regular milk. It’s mostly made of hard plastic but still looks nice on the counter, but it’s still a starter machine. You can’t control the size or temperature as much as I’d like.

Coffee maker stopped working after only a year of using it . Super disappointed !

I can’t believe how easy it is to make the expresso drinks that I’ve been buying from local coffee shops. I have the convenience of making my expresso drinks right at home. The coffee maker also includes a recipe book if your looking to experiment when you have over company or as a treat for yourself.

The machine is smaller than expected and doesn't take too much counter space. I read the directions before using it and primed the machine properly. Don't skip that step or you won't have the best tasting coffee. The priming didn't take long, and I was having my first latte in no time. This machine is easy for my family and guests to use without too much explanation. I couldn't be happier with my new machine. Highly recommended!

It is so simple to use and has a recipe book to look up something else if you don't have anything in mind.
