The first butter keeper was delivered to our home. It was wrapped very poorly and was broken in many pieces. We took it back to the store. The second butter keeper was delivered. Same situation. The third butter keeper was delivered and was intact, thankfully. It does keep the butter soft and spreadable.
I ordered this online. Was broken during shipping. Went to the store to get another one but found one that was bigger so it could hold more butter. This one would hold about half a stick maybe less.

Bought one for parents and fell in love with smooth, spreading butter ever since. Cannot go back. Buy one! Fill 1/4 w cold water and it will keep butter fresh. Bought another 2 as gifts
I have wanted a butter keeper for a few years. Finally decided to get as it was a good price. If I loved, would give them as Christmas gifts. Well, I do keep our house on the warm side, A/C set at 79, so I would have to fill with cold water all throughout the day. Maybe it will work better in the winter. Other brands may work better but not willing to spend more money to find out.

As a “senior” I thought I had all kitchen products. This butter keeper is wonderful! Butter stays soft without spoiling. Love it for this warm southern climate! Get one and see for yourself. My daughter loves hers—a gift from mama.
