My Brest Friend® Original Nursing Pillow in Flowing Fans

This was one product I was very excited to use but ended up never liking. If you’ll have a c-section, I wouldn’t recommend this product. I had an unplanned c-section and that prevented me from really being able to use this. It’s supposed to sit right under your boobs, and my daughter is too big for me to use it now that I’m healed. The weight of my baby pushed the pillow down on my belly, and it caused painful pressure on the incision. I tried it a couple times after the soreness started to fade, but if she started coughing and needed to be put upright, it’s nearly impossible to do with the pillow strapped to you. That strap was the reason I put this on my registry over other products, but it’s the reason I ended up not liking it. I felt trapped in it. I ended up using a regular bed pillow and now just use that or a throw pillow. Also, I thought the fabric was rough, even after washing. Maybe that’s just the ginkgo leaf pattern fabric though. I’m giving this 3 stars because it’s a good idea I know it’s supportive and could work well for other women, just not for me.

this is just the most perfect pillow. I especially love that it straps closed and is adjustable with a picket.

I purchased this for my daughter who had a c section and whose baby was having a hard time latching. She tried the boppy nursing pillow which was too tight around her tender stomach and wasn’t offering the support that her baby needed. My breast friend was a game changer! It has an adjustable belt that was comfortable around my daughter’s waist and offered wonderful support for the baby! After seeing the struggles my daughter went through, I highly recommend this product!

This nursing pillow is so supportive and makes breastfeeding so much easier, both with positioning your baby and in avoiding back pain. My only complaints are that unbuckling the pillow for burping after a feed is always a little awkward, and I always need another form of support to keep the pillow in the best possible position. Even with those issues I still strongly recommend this product.

It’s pretty good. I wish there was a way to elevate the side where the baby’s head is a bit more.
