Natural Home™ Australian Wool™ Duvet

I had been wanting a wool duvet for years, and finally treated myself to one. This one is perfect for me, keeps me at the perfect temperature all night.

Considering this is an actual duvet, you would think it would come with ties or loops to keep it in place. However, it does not. I am fixing this constantly. I have tried the clips and the pins, nothing works. A complete waste of money.

Kinda noisy until it gets worn in a bit and the shell layer softens up but my bigg3t gripe with it so far is that the corners really do need some sort of fastenings in the corners for it to stay unbunched in the duvet cover and that the site says queen/full but the product box itself says queen.

As duvets go it's good but it leaks really badly. It gets everywhere. It's like owing a very hairy dog. I didn't expect it at all and am very disappointed and fluffy.

I bought this in the hopes that it would be cozy enough and cool enough as I sleep hot. The description indicates that it is warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I haven't slept under it in the summer yet, but it is more than enough warmth for me when my house is a cool 58 F. I do like the weight of it (not heavy) and it's coziness and that it does not have a lot of static. I now can also only wash the cover when it's covered with cat hair, rather than wash a heavy blanket.

So far we are very excited about this product! Wool is the most fabulous material for temperature balance and coziness. It didn't smell at all when the package was 1st opened, which we were surprised since it IS made of wool. There was even a warning on the bag which basically said "this item may smell like wool". Maybe if we get it wet it will. But the manufacturer suggests to not launder it but to have it dry cleaned. If we feel so daring to actually try to launder this ourselves we will DEFINITELY be sure to wash it on cold so it doesn't shrink, since it's made of wool. This is a risk we might just take (going to a laundromat and using a giant washer of appropriate size, and of course only tumbling on no-heat). Its not particularly fluffy, which is what we expected since it's not stuffed with fluff but with wool, which is a naturally denser material. Overall it is exactly what we expected and are quite happy! I expect it to keep us warm on -25 nights, but when it's crazy cold we might just need to add an extra blanket.....

I gave five stars because it is a beautiful comforter, suitable size lightweight. The only problem it has is the strong smell of sheep. The manufacturer should know a better way to clean and deodorize wool. Unfortunately I am returning the product
