These straws are not only good for the environment but have the feel of a regular plastic straw. I carry them in my car and my purse.

Love these straws! I have bought bags and bags of these straws. Feel just like a regular plastic straw yet I don't feel guilty using them as they're compostable. I leave a bag in my car so I'm ready whenever I go through a drive thru.

It feels and tastes like a regular straw but is compostable. This straw stays strong unlike paper straws. Yes they are more Money but protect the environment.

I love these straws so much that I have bought bags and bags of them. I keep them in my car and at home as I use whenever I get my iced starbucks or a drink through a drive-through. They have the exact feel of a regular plastic straw yet are biodegradable so I feel as though I'm not damaging the water and land.

Thought I would buy them and give them a try and they are great.

As I stood looking at the straw options, I wanted something environmentally friendly. As I suspected, the ones that appealed to my heart, were double the price. Argh...what to do. I ignored my pragmatic side and got these. I was afraid they'd get mushy easily and I'd feel silly for paying so much. But NO! They are great! I use one straw for an entire day and it is good as new in the evening. I'm glad I got this product.

I use them at home, and carry them in my car. I cannot tolerate paper straws! Thank you for including these in your inventory.

We have found these as sturdy as plastic straws...maybe a bit less, since I've noticed more bent straws and bite marks after the kids use them. These are mostly clear with vertical stripes all around (that don't show up in the product photo). They hold up after soaking for hours (unlike paper straws). I was hoping they were easily compostable, but the package I got says, they are "Not suitable for home composting" and "APPROPRIATE FACILITIES MAY NOT EXIST IN YOUR AREA," so I'm not sure if I should even put them in our local 'green can' since they look and feel so much like plastic that they could be considered a contaminant. I assumed that the biodegradable label mean they would naturally break down quickly, but I doubt it. If they could find a way to use plant-based plastic to coat paper straws, that would be more what I was hoping to get. Also, I don't know if the packaging is too thin, but ours arrived torn, so some straws had spilled out when I received them in the mail.
