Natural Home Products Moboo® Compost Bin in Cherry

I love it

I have to say that I really love my little red compost bin. Firstly, it stands out in my kitchen - amongst all the other gadgets - because of the bright colour. It's large enough to take about 4-5 days of cut-offs (like vegetables, fruit, etc.). I bought it for my kitchen because I disliked the unsightliness of all the cut-off bits on a plate waiting to be removed to our main compost bin outside. This is neat, and tidy for a few days collection.

I was looking for a compost bin for our new house. I immediately liked the looks of this compost bin, I don't like using cheap plastic products so this was perfect for me. It looks great in my kitchen window and I have received many compliments! I have been using this compost bin for about a month now and have not had any issues. I cook a LOT using fresh vegetables so big size was a plus, I empty the bin every couple days. I don't smell anything and I have not had to change the charcoal filter yet. The bin comes with a couple biodegradable compost bags. The lid is light yet solid, makes it easy to use. I will recommend this beautiful and functional compost bin to everyone.

When I first read that it was made of bamboo, I had my doubts, but it proved to be very solid, and still lightweight. What I especially like about it: it's way easier to empty that our previous one as it has no ridge around the inside of the top that prevents the trash bag from cleanly falling out.

Really cute sitting on the counter. Was difficult to get the screws to set in the top after installing the filter. Doubt we will will ever take the screws out! I will just shove a new filter in as best I can.
