It’s hard to give this 5 stars for value because it IS expensive, but that said, we have the “Big Dawg” Dyson ball vac and we just do t use it anymore! We have VERY plush carpet, and pushing that Dyson through it was like pushing it through wet concrete. We traded up from a Botvac Connected to this D7 because of the “no-go” lines. What can I say? We have two cats and a Black Lab...This vac does it all!!! Even my wife brags that it’s the best purchase we’ve ever made....There are simply not enough superlatives for this. It’ll hurt a little, but but it....You’ll never regret it!!!
I was gifted a Neato Botvac for Christmas. I had to return two of them before one worked. Bed, Bath, and Beyond have incredible customer service!! They have a 90 day electronic return policy, so when the third vacuum malfunctioned I called NEATO customer service. They emailed me trouble shooting instructions, which my husband followed exactly. When that didn't work, I called them back and they insisted we didn't perform the trouble shooting correctly. So, we followed them again. Still didn't work. FINALLY, after me insisting and pushing they agreed to have me mail it in for repair and then wanted to charge me. My vacuum was less than 6 months old and they come with a one year warranty. I refused to pay for it as it was within the warranty window. They sent it back and it did not work. AT ALL. So I called them back and they said I didn't use it correctly so I needed to buy a new battery. I bought a new battery. Still didn't work. So, after insisting once again, I sent it back to repair. They sent it back. Still didn't work. I called customer service once again. I told them that I was not happy with this product as it is not reliable and they said that they would see if they could send me a new vacuum. After a few days, I received an email stating they would send me a new vacuum. Less than 6 months later, our power went out and it has not worked since. It will only vacuum the perimeter of the room and then can't find its docking station. It has scratched my furniture because it won't stop bumping into it. I called customer service once again and told them I wanted a refund. They said they would email the warranty department. I received an email back stating that they would not issue a refund because it has been over a year since the vacuum was purchased. I emailed them back with the previous email of the details of the new vacuum they sent me. They never replied, so another phone call. Then of course, I had to wait on an email. Finally it came and stated that they could not issue a refund because they had no way to process a refund from Bed, Bath and Beyond. I called and spoke to yet another customer service rep, and told them I wanted to speak to a manager or supervisor. They said no one was there and they would have someone call me. No one called. I called back. She told me that they make their own schedules and no one was there for me to talk to but she would have someone call me. I told her I did not want to wait for someone to not call me again and I would wait until she had a manager available to speak to me. She said "Well, I guess you can wait over an hour on hold then." She was so rude. I told her I was at work and could not wait that long on the phone. She said someone would call me. Brendan called. He was so rude and read me the email that was sent and said that was correct. I told him BB&Beyond is no longer in this picture as this vacuum was from NEATO, not BB&Beyond. He said asked me how much I paid and I told him and then he rudely said, "No, how much did you pay for the vacuum that was sent to you in May?" I said, "Nothing, but you sent that one to me to replace what I had since it was not working and I sent that one back to you." He replied, "Exactly. It was given to you, so how can you ask me to refund you money for something you didn't pay for?" This company is ridiculous. I asked to speak to someone above him and he said he was at the top and there was no one above him. I asked once more and he said he was at the top. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Terrible customer service. As much as their products cost they should last more than 3-6 months. Out of all FOUR that I had not a single one lasted longer than that. For that amount of money, that is crazy. And I have never heard of a company that does not issue a refund under any circumstance for this kind of product. Unreliable product and horrible customer service from NEATO.

I’ve had two Neato sweepers. First one was a D 5 that was used twice a week for 5 years, same battery. Second one a D7 that I’ve used for two years with no problem. I bought a new D 7 that I bought on sale still in the box,because I never want to be without a D7.
i bought the Neato d7 in 2020 . 1 year later it had wheel issues and they sent me a new one and now AGAIN i have wheel issues within a year and they will not stanby their product saying the warranty is based on initial purchase. not the new one sent within a year. BOTTOM LINE THEY ONLY LAST A YEAR!!!!!!

I had owned 3 Neato robots previously, all refurbished. All had bad experiences where the navigation system or battery would die on me within a few months. I wondered if the issue was with refurb units, and thus I caved and bought one new. I'm thankful to say that after 2 solid years of running every other day and cleaning up in a doggy household, this thing hasn't disappointed yet. Hope it keeps going!
Very poor navigation, always ended up stuck on a very flat floor with few obstacles. After 6 months, fell down the stairs and ended up in pieces. The virtual fence is also not really reliable.

This vacuum is one of the worst robot vacuums I have ever had. It is never working and gets stuck in the middle of the floor. I am now having a problem with the brush roll saying it needs to be cleaned when it is cleaned and now I have to send it in for repair. Save yourself a lot of headaches and stay away from this brand.

This little vacuum tackles a 4000 square foot building with artificial turf. Picks up dog hair well. He sometimes doesn’t find his way back to the charging station, but that’s ok. I run him at night, find him all tuckered out and “full” in the morning, and recharge for another day! I wish the dust bin was bigger.
Great vacuum! Meets all my expectations. If I purchased a new one, I would get one that empties itself since we have lots of Golden Retriever hair.
This vacuum is the worst one I have ever used. I have had roomba, shark and a bob. This is by far the worst. It is constantly disconnecting from wifi and won’t work. It dies in the middle of the floor when no one is home and doesn’t run anymore. It’s constantly saying it’s brush needs to be cleaned when we just did it. We have only had this for 6 months. I really wish I could just return it and be done with it and this company. Would not recommend.
