Robot has multiple issues. Side brush stops spinning after few minutes. Customer support sent me a replacement brush but, that also stops after few mins. Robot cannot find its charging base after the cleaning. I had to manually put it on the base. Customer support sent some troubleshooting steps, but the issue persists. Very disappointed. Returning the robot.
I previously owned the D5 and loved it. After many years of good use, I accidentally dropped it and decided to upgrade to the D9. Terrible decision! The navigation on the D9 is terrible, doesn’t pick up crumbs in corners, doesn’t pick up as much hair, and constantly gets stuck all over the house. The most common problem is a slight edge- the track of my sliding door, a rug that has anything other than very low pile, chair legs - you name it and the D9 cannot navigate it. Also looses Bluetooth connection so you can’t even use the “locate” button on the app. You’ll end up searching all over the house for where the vacuum got stuck. I’ve lost my brand loyalty to Neato and will definitely be getting a different brand next time.

Vacuum does not work. I received 2 replacement and all were defective. Makes lots of noise, does not follow the map. Side brush stops spinning and does not clean the surface properly. Neato customer service is very unresponsive and neglect to respond in timely fashion. DO NOT BUY THIS VACUUM

Neato Vacuum is the worst. Very bad vacuum and does not work as per the design. Does not clean properly or follow the map. Does not even go back to the base. Very poor customer service. I do not recommend buying any of their products. Very disappointing.

Based on the dust collected it seems to do good job cleaning. And it’s relatively quite on the economy mode. I do get “Something is wrong” error message pop up regularly for no apparent reason plus it has hard time locating the base or docking itself. Customer service seems to be responsive I just never have the time to troubleshoot the issue with them. One day. Otherwise pretty happy.

This is my 3rd Neato Botvac, Yes I like them that much. This was an upgrade from my previous D85 botvac and I was sold on the NO-GO zone or at least wanted to be if it actually worked. All of the functions of the vacuum are great, suction power, speed, battery life, wireless app launch features. However the main feature of this new model is the ability to block out areas so the vacuum doesn't go where it shouldn't and to be honest it does work, but only sometimes. Gone with this model is the magnetic strip detection that was present in virtually every other model of botvac. Gone is the nice little LCD screen from the previous model. And sadly gone is the reliability of the previous model to do what it was made to do. Clean the rooms you want and stay out of the rooms you don't. Now I have to remember to close doors to keep the vacuum where it should stay out of. Yes this model uses lidar to see rooms and each time it cleans it makes a new map but more than 1/2 the time the map is skewed to where the No-Go zones are not the correct place, (entering the laundry room to crash into the dog food bowl and water bowl. Or enter my bedroom or den which is carpeted getting stuck somewhere. Yes I contacted support. Only to be told to clean the Lidar on my brand new unit. If you read further reviews on Amazon you will see this is a problem. So my advise would be to save your money and skip these models until they fix the problem or at lease add the magnetic strip detection back.

I have purchased 2 Neato vacuums and both quit working after less than a year. Latest one will no longer charge on its base. I plan to purchase a different brand now and hope for higher quality product with more longevity!!

It skips the corners and sometimes it keep spinning in the same spot but the sucking is good
