Nestwell™ Flatweave MicroCotton® King Blanket in Light Grey

I bought two of these and they both started to pell (shed) immediately. I tried everything to get them to stop, but it just gets worst. I do not recommend these at all.

I purchased this blanket as a summer weight option. I loved the light weight. Because my winter weight blanket is very heavy, I put the Nestwell back on the bed thinking I would use it for another month or so. Well, it shed all over my dark blue sheets.There are white, blanket fibers everywhere. I am very unhappy with this purchase. Enlarge the photos and you will see the problems.

I searched all day for a new blanket . I bought one from Macy’s and after a wash it didn’t even cover the mattress it had shrunk so much. So I wanted a larger one. Plus I wanted breathable cotton that wasn’t going to snag as I have cats. I can confirm if you wash in cold and dry on a low setting it doesn’t shrink. It may not shrink if washed differently but I didn’t try. It’s soft and I love it.

Live in Southern California so light weight is the key. Bought one for our cal king bed. Fits perfectly even though it says king, not cal king. Bought another for cooler nights. Love it so much that I bought one for both our king guest beds and even for our king bed at our vacation home in Colorado. Best blanket, better quality than most. Love that it's cotton and not some man made fiber! Would highly recommend and would buy again if I had any more beds.

Ordered the longer queen in gray and we are very pleased. This blanket is soft and just the right weight love the color as well. Would absolutely by this blanket again.

This has been a great purchase for my split-king adjustable bed. The blanket is weighty enough for winter and transition weather, but not too heavy to lie under with other bedding. It has a wonderful texture and so-soft feel. All the edges are turned and hemmed, giving it a quality finish. I've washed it twice and it has maintained it's shape, hasn't shrunk, and is wide enough to fully cover and hang down on both sides of the bed. I would definitely buy again.

This is a luxurious blanket. Very soft. Good weight, but doesn’t feel heavy while sleeping. Covers well on all sides. I washed it per the directions & had no shrinkage. It took 2 cycles to dry on low, but this prevented shrinking. I love it.

Right out of the bag, brand new the blanket had a terrible smell. As if it was treated with a very strong chemical. Washing it with tide did not remove the smell. Washing it again with bleach and soap helped some but it STILL smells. If it doesn’t fade, I’m taking it back. I bought the white Queen/full blanket. Giving it 2 stars because it’s soft. Otherwise it would be 1 star because it stinks.
