Nestwell™ Pure Earth™ Organic Cotton Matelassé Twin Blanket in Medium Stone

I really don’t like this blanket. It’s not soft but has rather a polyester synthetic feel. I own several other blankets that are similar, but they are soft...they feel like cotton and good against the skin. I love the Nestwell line, as I own several sateen sheets, but the Pure Earth sheets and this particular blanket doesn’t impress me much. Also, they (including this blanket) smell chemical coming out of the dryer. The other Nestwell sheets that I have purchased does not. I pay very close attention because I have chemical sensitivities. I just don’t see how some reviewers see this blanket as comfortable. It is more scratchy than soft. I will most likely return.

Rarely write reviews but this product is exceptional. Soooo soft it’s like sleeping in a cloud. I actually went back and bought a 2nd one a few months later bc I don’t know when I’ll find something this nice again. And I NEVER buy 2 of anything. Absolutely amazing. Organic makes a huge difference- I had no idea.

I've had this blanket for a month and am already in love with it! My cotton sheets with this cotton waffle-weave blanket are perfect for a warm summer night! During winter I'll add a wool blanket and comforter!

I bought 3 of these and everyone in my family loves it! It’s soft and light and just enough with a sheet on hot summer nights. A slight odor when removed from the bag but it went away quickly once put on the bed.

I purchased this blanket when having company from out of state. They raved about it! I have since used it and best blanket I have ever owned ! Luxuriously soft and keeps your body at comfort temperature. No sweating nor cold spots ! I am very happy with purchase and might purchase another. Another thing : purchased queen size and fits perfectly. The bedspread I purchased ( not this brand) was a king size and barely fits. So happy the blanket fits well !!!! BBB is awesome !!!

When I saw this blanket online I wanted to buy it. I was a little reluctant to order it based on some of the reviews. I bought it anyways knowing if it didn’t work out I can always return to store. Happily it is exactly what I was hoping for. It is super soft and the perfect weight for the hot summer nights in Nevada. I don’t sleep with a blanket in the summer just a sheet. I put this on my bed to take the chill off during early hours of the morning. It’s absolutely perfect. I just pull it back and when I get cold I pull it onto the bed. I really like that it is textured so it doesn’t look like you just have a blanket on your bed. I very much like the idea that it is organic cotton with all natural coloring as well. I washed it before use as instructed following the washing instructions. It came out perfect and did not shrink. It didn’t have an odor like some new blankets do but that is do to the fact that it’s organic cotton and no chemical coloring is not used just natural coloring. I love it so much I just ordered 2 more. I bought 2 white and 1 medium stone. The white is a true white and I haven’t received the medium stone yet. I did read that the medium stone is more blue than dark gray which will look perfect on my sons bed.

This “blanket” is so flimsy, it should not be called a blanket. Very thin like a sheet. I will be returning.
