Nevaeh White® by Fitz and Floyd® 16-Inch Oval Platter

I got a complete set with my wedding registry (cups to plates to bowls to sugar bowl to butter - entire set). Well, all of them are absolutely amazing, but one of the plates cracked when I put hot pasta on it; it was awful, truly. I emailed Fitz and Floyd though, and they immediately sent me a replacement plate within five days. Their customer service is absolutely amazing and I love the collection.

It's pretty... I'll give it that much, but don't be fooled by the description. As any reputable china manufacturer or collector will tell you, bone ash simply affects the color, not the durability. Durability is determined by the firing temperature, and since bone china is fired at approximately the same temperature as other fine china, it's no hardier. Another thousand degrees or so, and you'd get porcelain, which is certainly more durable, though absent bone ash. Bone ash lends a creaminess to the white color and is slightly more transparent than fine china that contains no bone ash, but that's all it does. Sad that this is being marketed with information from an old wives' tale.

These plates are crisp, elegant and durable. I did not register for fine china since it always seems too nice to use, but I did want to have a "nicer" set of plates to keep separate from my everyday plates that I was not scared to use/break/wash etc. I have had a set of 8 dinner and salad plates for over 2 years and there isn't a single knife scratch on any of them. I am about to buy another set to bring me up to a serving capacity of 16. [I have a big family :-)] The plates are thinner so they stack really well without taking up a lot of space. I am an extremely critical shopper and I definitely recommend these plates.

We received these dishes for wedding gifts. I LOVE them! My husband is a US Marine and is known for breaking things but these dishes are very durable and none of them have been broken. The shape is interesting but simple and will go with any decor. Classy, practical, and durable.

I received the dinner plates, lunch plates, salad bowls, cups, and saucers as a wedding gift. The design is attractive and goes with any table linens. It is sturdy enough to use every day but elegant enough to use for special occasions. The dishes have withstood a few strong bumps and even being dropped. I expect to be able to use these for many years.

This china is simple & durable yet elegant. It is perfect for a casual dinner OR for a fancier night. I also LOVE the fact that my beautiful china is perfectly safe to go in the dishwasher :)

Everday china is the right name for these. It makes my food look good, whether its simply my morning cerial or something I've poured hours into for a dinner party. One set of dishes does it all. After a year and a half of use they've held up great. Two of the smaller bowls broke but considering I dropped them onto my granite countertops I don't think that reflects on the product as much as my hand-eye coordination.

Blends with all four Nevaeh styles to mix and match. All milk white bone china pieces match exactly. Designed for everyday. I use in micro and dishwasher all the time.
