Nevaeh White® by Fitz and Floyd® Grand Rim Appetizer Plate

Plain white goes with everything and you carry it in stock in case I need replacements. Like the fact that it is china and not stoneware.

Sturdy, elegant, light weight, coordinates beautifully with other white or patterned dishes. Would definitely recommend.

I got a complete set with my wedding registry (cups to plates to bowls to sugar bowl to butter - entire set). Well, all of them are absolutely amazing, but one of the plates cracked when I put hot pasta on it; it was awful, truly. I emailed Fitz and Floyd though, and they immediately sent me a replacement plate within five days. Their customer service is absolutely amazing and I love the collection.

Time for new everyday dishes. My husband John and I wanted plain, off white new dishes. We knew we wanted bone china b/c it is lighter in weight than stoneware and more durable. We also wanted dishwasher and microwave safe. I looked everywhere. Lots of flat white....too modern. Husband especially wanted to showcase the food on the plate since we are both at home chefs. Bought a few pieces to take home and see if the Boss liked it. Very happy. Thanks BB&B Suzanne

Love the size of this bread and butter plate. I purchased a complete set of Lenox Park City. Unfortunately they do not have a coordinating plate of this size. While Nevaeh White is close to the same color (you really have to pay attention to tell the slight variance), it is a much thinner plate than Lenox. It's perfect for small servings, dessert, etc...

It's pretty... I'll give it that much, but don't be fooled by the description. As any reputable china manufacturer or collector will tell you, bone ash simply affects the color, not the durability. Durability is determined by the firing temperature, and since bone china is fired at approximately the same temperature as other fine china, it's no hardier. Another thousand degrees or so, and you'd get porcelain, which is certainly more durable, though absent bone ash. Bone ash lends a creaminess to the white color and is slightly more transparent than fine china that contains no bone ash, but that's all it does. Sad that this is being marketed with information from an old wives' tale.

These plates are crisp, elegant and durable. I did not register for fine china since it always seems too nice to use, but I did want to have a "nicer" set of plates to keep separate from my everyday plates that I was not scared to use/break/wash etc. I have had a set of 8 dinner and salad plates for over 2 years and there isn't a single knife scratch on any of them. I am about to buy another set to bring me up to a serving capacity of 16. [I have a big family :-)] The plates are thinner so they stack really well without taking up a lot of space. I am an extremely critical shopper and I definitely recommend these plates.

This china is simple & durable yet elegant. It is perfect for a casual dinner OR for a fancier night. I also LOVE the fact that my beautiful china is perfectly safe to go in the dishwasher :)
