Nevaeh White® by Fitz and Floyd® Hard Square Cereal Bowl

We bought this set of plates, bowls a few years ago. I was tired of having every set I bought constantly chip. I am SO IMPRESSED! Beautiful, clean white lines, dishwasher safe and more durable than I could EVER imagine! So strong that this plate actually chipped my granite countertop when we accidentally banged it against it, but the plate did not chip or crack!!! Unbelievable! I will have this set for as long as I can. So classic and goes with anything.

I use these bowls for everything from snacks, appetizers, juicing fruit... everything and anything. perfect size

These bowls are a beauty! in some other reviews i dont think people realize that these bowls fit portion sizes (1 cup of cereal) and that these are BONE chine meaning they are extremely durable. I put mine in the dishwasher and microwave EVERY DAY!!! the only time I have had pieces break is when I dropped them on our tile floor. Best plain white bone china out there period for the price!!

Bowls are not microwave or Dishwasher safe. they are made very poorly. Terrible made. I have contacted the company and hope they respond to give a better alternative. I am used to Dishes holding up for years. These do not.

Really like the pattern and quality

I'll preface this by saying I'm a recent convert from the Corelle Winter White line to Nevaeh White. When evaluating bowl options to replace the 15-oz bowls that come standard with most Corelle place settings, I knew I wanted something similarly sized for cereal. I'm not interested in the ridiculously deep cereal bowls that don't fit well in most dishwashers. This bowl style caught my attention immediately. I have the soft square 4-pc place settings, so this looked like the perfect companion. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit the bill. The capacity is just too small to justifiably call it a cereal bowl--it's more on par with the Fruit bowl or Appetizer bowl, both also in the Nevaeh White line. I could also see using this for dessert, e.g., a brownie with a scoop of ice cream. But that's about it; the utility is very narrow. And to be honest, the Fruit and Appetizer bowls are eminently more practical (and just as beautiful from a design perspective) for petite bowl options (e.g., as a replacement for the Corelle 10-oz bowls). Ultimately, I ended up going with the Nevaeh White "All Purpose" round bowl (also called the 7" serving bowl) for cereal bowls. Shallow enough to fit perfectly in my dishwasher, but not at risk of overflowing or spilling when used as a cereal bowl.

Love this entire set! You can dress it up or down for casual or formal occasions. This specific piece is perfect for a side of fruit or ice cream.
