Nevaeh White® by Fitz and Floyd® Soft Square Appetizer Plate

We got these plates a couple weeks ago and today one chipped just by tapping a glass in my hands. Not dropped, just tapped a glass that was in my other hand. Hope the rest of our plates aren’t this fragile...

They fit my needs, are nice.

These small plates are a stunning way to present artistic appetizers or desserts. Very flat, so watery sauces or juices could be an issue, but nothing better to serve dry foods in style. They are truly microwave safe. They do heat up, but only a little, and are cool enough to handle if you wait a few seconds, even after microwaving for a minute or two.

I got used to sturdier B.Smith plates but these Nevaeh seem rather flimsy in comparison. Fortunately, I only handwash my dishes. Time will tell how well they will hold up against repeated microwave reheating of sticky food (like previously baked sweet plaintains), holding my Method liquid dish soap (that can leave a permanent yellowish stain on white appetizer plates) etc.

I use these plates both as appetizer plates and as saucers for the soft square mugs. They're the perfect size for saucers, but they don't have the indentation in the center for the mug to rest in, so you have to be careful that the mug doesn't slide off when you're carrying it. I don't use saucers regularly and I didn't want to buy ones for the few times that I have guests over for tea, so I'm really happy that I can use these. We love the Nevaeh White collection. We have it as our only dinnerware set because they're light and strong enough to use everyday (since they're made of bone china) but elegant enough to use with guests. And because they're white, they go with everything and they will never go out of style. I absolutely love that the line includes all sorts of tableware, not just plates, bowls, and mugs like other lines, and that you can buy each piece separately. We love the soft square line. They're a perfect blend of classic and modern. I love the shape of the soft square mugs and cereal bowls.

Beautiful, strong and just the right size. I do not like to use paper plates, so I purchased 20 of these as well as some of the rectangular large pieces. They make a great serving set for appetizers.

We received these dishes for wedding gifts. I LOVE them! My husband is a US Marine and is known for breaking things but these dishes are very durable and none of them have been broken. The shape is interesting but simple and will go with any decor. Classy, practical, and durable.

I received the dinner plates, lunch plates, salad bowls, cups, and saucers as a wedding gift. The design is attractive and goes with any table linens. It is sturdy enough to use every day but elegant enough to use for special occasions. The dishes have withstood a few strong bumps and even being dropped. I expect to be able to use these for many years.
