[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has to be the single greatest kitchen appliance (too awesome to be a gadget) on the market. My wife has used the foodi XL Grill every night for a week as a total meal solution just to test it out. It is amazing.we have a family of 6. 2 Adults 2 teenagers 2 under 10. Last night Barbecue chicken, grilled corn on the cob and air fried Brussels sprouts ... And lemon bars for dessert
I bought this hoping it would be an upgrade over the original Foodi Grill, which I've had for about a year and use almost every day. I use it to grill steaks and to air fry chicken wings very often. I would say this model is a significant downgrade in both areas. The grilling surface doesn't seem to get as hot as the old model, even if it is set to max. This results in steaks reaching the desired internal temperature, but still looking red on the outside. I used to be able to make perfect chicken wings in about 30 minutes with the air crisp function on the old model, but using the same method with this one took over an hour and still didn't come out nearly as good. The new features had a lot of promise, but the device just isn't of the same quality as the original. I would recommend anyone in the market just pick up the original for a lower price.

The Airfry, boiled, bake buttons stopped working after 1 year. When called Ninja there is nothing they can do to fix and since its after 1 yr warranty expired. They offered a discounted price for the base but at this point I have zero confidence on their product.
I love this appliance, however I’m two years in and the touch screen buttons no longer work. I was hoping to get more time out of it, but I guess this one’s a done deal.

The best product I bought this year, this indoor grill makes everything taste great and easy clean up.
We use it more than the stovetop oven, or grill! The best steaks, pork chops, eggs, bacon and so much more! You can cook almost anything! Everyone should own one of these babies!
I had a previous air fryer before which I really thought it would make my life easier after working long hours and having to cook for a family of 4. Well it didn’t . This ninja has been a life saver. It cooks to perfection from chicken, fries, hamburgers, fish, and veggies..everything comes out perfect in no time also ..I am happy and in air fryer heaven when cooking. So glad I purchased this.
This is by far one of the best appliances I have ever purchased. The air fryer function is THE BEST!!!
Glad I bought this. I like all the things it can do in one appliance. I can cook an entire meal with it....grill meat, air fry potatoes, and roasted broccoli. Only one appliance to clean.
I’ve had this for about 2yrs. I use it at least 4x per week, sometimes twice a day. I purchased 2 extra splatter shields so I’ll always have a clean one to insert. But, it doesnt do it’s job by protecting the heating element to prevent smoking. It sets off my smoke alarm every single time and it’s extremely annoying! At this point, I just remove the alarm from the wall before I start cooking. It’s not that easy to clean the grill (the air fryer piece is easy to clean), u have to soak it once it cools off. The brush that comes with it is a joke. Useless. I use a cello sponge. The thermometer was very accurate initially but after over a year, it’s less accurate but still nice to have. I use my Taylor thermometer to compare temps. Overall I like it a lot but I just don’t love it anymore like I used to. I’d still recommend it tho. It’s healthier cooking.
