Ninja® Professional Plus Blender with Auto-iQ® in Black

The blender works fine (for now) and I own my own Ninja blender so I was excited to give one to my friend since they love to cook, but I've since learned there are no attachments you can buy with the unit after the fact. I can't speak to extended use since my friend only recently started using it but if you wanted to add on additional accessories like food processor, pro extractor blade assembly (for smoothies on the go), etc. then I would not recommend this product. I was hoping to purchase this as a starting point for my partner and add on accessories because I couldn't afford the model with all of the attachments out the gate. Ninja Customer Support was rather rude when I called to ask if they could help guide me through what may or may not be compatible which was a disappointing experience. It was difficult to get a hold of someone to speak too and when I finally did the agent was distant and his tone was completely off putting and disinterested (felt like I was a bother when all I wanted to learn was if was possible to purchase accessories for the BN701 unit series since they have multiple designs for the connection between the base and the blender). I thought the reset of the Auto-IQ Series were compatible from my impression while shopping at the store, but that does not seem to be the case (comes down to the base and how it attaches to the blender and there are many configurations) and was my mistake for assuming. For those seriously shopping, if all you want is a blender its fine, but if you are looking for more and to build up accessories like I tried to do this is not the unit to go with and wish you the best if you ever have to deal with customer support at Ninja.

I can't give an honest review when I have only used it once.

I have always used Ninja Blenders but this one was a real lemon. I will be returning it soon. There is something that hits the metal and after a couple of seconds blending there is this horrible loud scraping noise coming from inside the blender. Ive never had that happen before. Guess it's just one bad blender.

I took this from the box, decided to wash and immediately sliced my finger almost to the point of stitches. Be careful. Other than that, this blender really works great

I love this blender! It chops ice like nothing else I have ever had and is perfect for making smoothies and my protein shake, not to mention my famous frozen margaritas! The only issue/non issue is that it is advertised as dishwasher safe. However you must use the top rack. I do not know any home dishwasher with a top rack deep enough to put the beaker on. But it does clean easily by hand so that is pretty minor'

Love how big the blending pitcher is. Easy to get in with rubber scraper to scoop out and nice big spout for pouring. Very powerful. Very happy with my purchase.

It is a great blender! I make protein shakes every day and it blends up so nice. I am excited to use the ice cream function as well.
