Ninja® Toaster Oven SP101 Foodi™ 8-in-1 Digital Foodi Air Fryer

I mostly use this as a toaster, and love it. HOWEVER I have 2 issues, within the first week one of the wires on the rack broke loose at the weld. I should have exchanged it, but didn't so that is my own fault, But now after about 13 month it started to make a terrible noise all the time, the noise continues during the cool down period. It is just my husband and I, so the appliance is lightly used, We are now afraid to use it. For the price, I would think it should last longer than a year.

We have tried to love this thing, but the amount of grease and junk that comes out the back is a pain. There is nothing to catch in the oven and cleaning this oven is very difficult. Not worth the mess it makes.

Received as a gift. Already own a Ninja air fryer but needed to replace my toaster oven. Someone gave me this. Best thing about this unit is the size. I have a space constraint, and this fit. The air fryer part of this unit does not compare to the regular air fryer. Not even close - If I didn't own a regular Ninja AF, I wouldn't know how lacking this unit is. As a toaster oven, I have found it to be VERY hot. If it calls for 425 degrees, go with 400, or burn it. It is also very inconsistent - One time it will produce great results, the next day, cooking the same thing, using the same settings, it will burn it up! Oh, now in the last week, the button panel has become loose - when I push the light button, the whole panel moves backwards. SAD! If you want a real air fryer or toaster oven, you should probably look elsewhere.

If you do chicken wings it fills the house with smoke. We have a smaller type which is great. Very disappointed. And so small all you can do is flat bread pizza.

I love it for everything but air frying. You can not use any kind of olive oil or it will smoke up your kitchen! I have a smaller Ninja that I keep which takes a lot of space for both of them. However, I haven’t had anything but olive oil for years. It’s healthy for you so I guess I’ll continue to have both of them. Wish I had known it before I bought it. Also my drip tray has discolored even though it has always been hand washed. There are spots from hot cheese and other things that have spilled on it and left permanent marks. Luckily I received this as a gift but this thing has been a nightmare to clean. Yes, it speeds up cooking and adds to dinner anytime I use it but it has gotten so gross I don’t even want to use it anymore. Deep cleaning is impossible, it’s also bulky and smokes so much because of the built up gunk. No way to really clean the inside and now mine is starting to leak from the back but we can’t get it fully clean because it’s impossible. Honestly save yourself and just get a regular air fryer. That’s the only function I’ve ever used on it since receiving it anyway

I’ve only had this for 6 months. it’s literally impossible to clean. It’s incredibly smokey now every time I use it, and no matter what I do the smoke won’t go away!

This poor lil machine had no idea what it was signing up for, being shipped to my home! It has been used at least 3 times every day since 5/2/22, and today is 1/27/23. Today the fan started making a noise during cool off, so I'm placing a warranty claim. Hopefully they'll fix it or replace. We have used EVERY feature on this thing, and people who are air frying and getting cold in the middle but burnt on the edge, you just aren't choosing the right temperature and timing, and you need to make sure you're using the air fryer tray (the one that has holes in it) without the other tray in the machine. I have been SERIOUSLY impressed with this thing. House full of teens who fend for themselves, and it's an overworked lil thing. Still kicking, just fan noise like I said, and honestly even if they don't cover it under the warranty, I would buy the same exact one again to replace it.
