I have 8 place settings and received them in 2013 when I got married. We’ve used them every day and have moved twice. No breaks, no chips, no scratches on the plates. HIGHLY recommend.
I don't know how they did this. But in the store, I watched the saleswoman smash the set and it didn't break. We've had the sets for a couple weeks and we've already seen a few things break. Today, I dropped a bowl about 2 inches while washing it and it shattered. I'm so distraught over the state of my broken bowl, so I was inspired to write a review. If you or your spouse struggles to grip soapy dishes while washing, beware this set.

Colorwave Ice soup/cereal bowls are nice, but purchased to pair with the Java Graphite Swirl dinnerware set that didn’t come with bowls. I was disappointed that they didn’t pair well. The bowls are much heavier than the dinnerware set, and the color was off.

Had these place settings for 15 years. They’re solid, don’t break, and wear well. Just ordered my first replacement bowls when my son knocked the shelf down and some bowls hit the granite counter and shattered. First breakage.

I ordered these bowls to make up a larger set. I had originally ordered them 15 years ago and they have held their color exceptionally well and you can't tell which ones are new other than silverware marks. I have already recommended this product to several people as we have been happy with them ever since we first purchased them in 2007.

Can be used or salad, soup or even a small full course such as turkey stroganoff. Bo0ught the tan as it goes with my current white china quite nicely. Micro & dishwasher safe too.
Great service, superior product, glad to be able to buy replacements. I highly recommend Noritake products from our friends in Japan.

I own the whole line of this product and love it all. I received the dishes as a gift in 2011 and they are still in excellent shape. They are very strong. It took many years of everyday use and I recently replaced a few bowls as I accidently dropped them. They will not break easily. You will NEVER be disappointed with this product.
