Noritake® Colorwave Coupe 16-Piece Dinnerware Set in Sand

I bought these dishes about 3 years ago and would not buy them again. In the first month one of them chipped and I replaced it, but within a years time period I found the dishes scratch and show wear and tear easily. My husband and I are the only ones who use these with occasional company, so very disappointed in the quality. The previous dishes I had lasted over 17 years and stilled looked good enough to donate. I bought Noritake because that is what my original dishes were. I won't be buying these again when I am ready to replace.

Purchased the Slate (grey) color, which were very nice. Delivered in perfect condition; however, I did exchange the dishes at the store for the Clay color instead. Love them!

I purchased two 16-piece sets two years ago. In looking at the price point today, I seem to have overpaid. I have had Noritake dishes in the past with no issues, so felt confident purchasing this product again. My husband and I are basically the only ones using the dishes on a daily basis, with a few family gatherings in the mix. A few months ago, I noticed that the dinner plates not only had scratches all over, but long black marks as well. I am guessing the black marks came from using a sharp knife for cutting meat. I looked closely at all the plates and realized that all of them had these marks. I was thinking of ordering replacements, but decided against this as it would be too expensive and who's to say it wouldn't happen again. I am extremely disappointed that my dinner plates look this awful, and I am embarrassed to use them for guests and family gatherings.

Just love these dishes. I purchased the Sand color which seems to very popular and out of stock often. They are durable and I have had no problems with any pieces.

i love these dishes and will buy another set. one mug arrived broken, but hopefully they'll make it right.

Loved these dishes and still do however they do chip even though we’ve been careful. Lots of money on this set and was hoping they’d last a long time. Owned for a bit over a year and we have about 4-5 pieces with chips now. Disappointing

My husband and I registered for these for our wedding in fall of 2017. We love the size of the plates and bowls, the color, and overall functionality. However I felt compelled to write a review 4 years later because after about 2 years of normal use between 2 people (we have 12 of each plate of the three plate sizes and bowl), they started to chip in various spots. Our color is a dark blue which I don’t see they sell anymore. The bowls have small scuffs on them all over, the plates and bowls both have various small chips around the edges. One bowel has a large chip. Overall, I wish we would have registered for something nicer or maybe just the white… but white is boring. I thought maybe this would help people buying or registering for dishes. These will not last you forever… or even 3 years… if you are picky about chips in your dishes.

We've had a full set of plates for eight for at least as many years and they still look great. And except for the bowl I dropped and the plate I just left on a hot stove not a single broken or chipped dish. Great dinnerware! and the pasta set we added last year just adds to the utility.
