We have been using these Noritake dishes for daily use for about a week. They are great. They hold much more than most dishes we have used. The bowl is big enough to give the teenagers enough cereal for breakfast without having to refill. The plates have a nice slope up to the edge but still allow a lot of food without crowding it all together. They are very attractive, have uniform surface, and look like they will be long lasting.
Unpacked, ran it through dishwasher, put everything away. Got a plate out to warm something up for 3 mins, took plate out of microwave and plate was cracked in half. So much for being microwave safe.

We got this set for our wedding registry, and then bought an extra set two years later so that we would have setting for eight. The dishes are not very heavy, which we love, but are very sturdy and have remained intact despite multiple multiple uses over the course of two years.
I am so glad that I bought this set. It looks stylish and it is very sturdy. I would totally recommend.

We love these dishes : we bought two sets to replace our old Noritake dishes that were 36 years old. They are heavy duty and the neutral color is just what we were looking for. The plates, bowls and mugs are all a great size, being on the larger side. I'd recommend these dishes and you can't go wrong with Noritake!
