I love the Regenerating Serum, and really love that I can get it fragrance free. I have been using it for 10 years now. It is still good, and I will continue to repurchase. However it isn’t as amazing, or effective, since the formula update around 2013. I think it worked better when it had carnosine in it, and cyclopentasiloxane was the first ingredient. It gave a beautiful soft mat finish, without being drying or oily, and was super Hydrating. It made my skin instantly look better with each use, and after 2 months my skin looked incredible. Honestly the best it has ever looked. I also had no more breakouts. I recommend it to everyone that would listen, haha. Sadly, when I tried the updated version in 2014 I noticed immediately that it wasn’t as good. It didn’t have the same texture, and my skin no longer looked as good. I was happy carob fruit extract was added in the 2016 update, but it still was not as effective as the one with carnosine, pre 2013.
I am a very long-time user of Olay. I have to say that the products with this type of dispenser are not great. When the bottle eventually "runs out", there is still enough product remaining inside the bottle to still last at least 4 more days. One time I actually cut open the plastic bottle part (which was difficult) because the top doesn't remove. You would be surprised as to how much is really left inside the bottle. I hate to waste money and product. It should be redesigned. The Total Effects pump dispenser is better because the platform raises inside to make sure all of the product is really dispensed.

In 1996, a family friend told me that she used a drugstore moisturizer- Oil of Olay Regenerist serum (fragrance free). She was in her fifties, wore no makeup, had glowy skin so I bought my first bottle. I have used this serum for over 25 years and people always ask me what products I’m using on my face. It feels like silk when I put it on my skin and it’s absorbed so beautifully - no strange tacky or greasy layer on surface of your skin. My teen son and daughter even have their own bottle because they like how it feels and makes their skin look. At one point, I couldn’t find it in stores so I switched to something else and my skin suffered. I have turned a lot of people on to this product and they are still faithful users. Don’t ever discontinue. I’m in my mid fifties now and still get asked for my ID — thanks Olay.

this checks all my boxes: 1. light but moisturizing enough to be used on its own. 2. not in a jar. 3. includes niacinamide. 4. fragrance-free Now it's discontinued. what do i do :(

After surgery to repair my shoulder, my face felt like sandpaper. Nothing I tried helped. Then I bought this and, after only 3 days, my skin felt smoother. I like that it doesn't feel greasy or make my pores larger.

This serum is my all-time favorite, and I keep going back to it: feels good on my skin and does its job. I worry that Olay will discontinue it - should I buy up all the stock?

I've been using the Olay Regenerating Serum Fragrance-Free for more than 20 years. I am so happy with it. It is easy to apply, absorbs well in the skin, softens and smoothens skin. My face feels soft and smooth when I wake up in the morning too. PLS DO NOT DISCONTINUE THIS PRODUCT.
