Olivia & Oliver® Madison Gold Salad Plate

Perfectly sized salad plate, nice bone china look. It is a thin gold rim. Typically, gold rim wears off after a while, so I can't speak to that because these plates are new. I anticipate getting a couple years use before that happens. The gold rim adds a bit of elegance. For a modern look and less concern of the fading, the plain white plates might work better for long term. I use the plain white dinner plate, and this gold rimmed salad plate as an accent, all set over a light gold placemat. the Olivia & Oliver white napkin with a line of embroidered gold finishes the setting.

It is a nice sized salad plate, looks as pictured. Easy to clean, although time will tell how long the gold rim lasts. Typically gold trim on most plates wear over time.

We purchased these to go with our outdoor table setting. Most gold rimmed dinner plates wear over time, and since these are new, I cannot speak to that longevity. The porcelain plate is very nice. It is a good size salad plate, cleans nicely. The gold rim works beautifully with our light golden placemats, and white napkins with a soft gold accent (also purchased at BB&B).
