Last year I purchased Model 8006. The only initial concern I had was the amount of plastic in which food has to come in contact. Although the machine is working perfectly, the "Black" (plastic) Auger is now tinted green along the mid-section with stripes of white (worn off plastic?) along the "blades" and the Juicer Screen is also streaked with wear. I would prefer that at least these the auger have a stainless steel cover and the juicer screen be lined with stainless steel. I also want to get a new plunger made of wood (or I will make one with the right-height stopper). I do not put nuts through it and I thin-slice my carrots to speed up the juicing (and minimize the time and friction with plastic parts). Lastly, I have to set it up a bit higher so I can use a glass 2-cup measure to catch the juice. The pulp overflows into a casserole dish so I can easily keep separate what I want to toss into my compost (the wheat grass, garlic, ginger, citrus, etc.) and save for my muffins (carrots, apple, celery, sweet potato, etc.) I have been using a Vitamix instead until I can get the Auger & Juicer Screen replaced.
I bought this juicer and was very pleased with it... until the juicing screen broke only 1 week later. I juice 2 ounces of wheat grass daily. I have broken 3 screens so far! Omega is quick in sending me new screens, but I'm stuck with aging wheat grass and unable to juice until the new screen gets to me. And really, how many screens is too any? When will they start charging me for shipping? They should specify this is for occasional wheat grass juicing. I seriously need to return this. Hasn't been 2 months yet so I'll try to return it where I bought it.

I bought this machine in the US and i've recently moved to the UK. The voltage doesn't translate here. Any tips on how to still use it? Perhaps I should buy a voltage regulator? Any advice is appreciated :)

I was going to to the local juice bar about 3 times a week (which was expensive, and then I found out that they didn't always use organic fruits and vegis ). I was a bit hesitant to get a juicer because I thought it might be too much work but it's not at all! I've been using the Omega almost every day since it arrived about 3 weeks ago and I LOVE it!! It's easy to assemble, easy to use, really easy to clean, and every combination of fruits and vegis I've made has been delicious and organic. I'm so very very happy with, the size, the price, the convenience, the 15 year warranty......everything : )

I researched juicers for quite a while before I decided on this Omega Juicer. It meets all my needs and exceeded my expectations. I regularly juice wheat grass, celery and other fruits and veggies. The Omega does all of these with ease. The quick and easy cleaning is another major plus. (I tend to avoid appliances when they are too time consuming to clean) Bonus---I was surprised how quiet the juicer is! It is absolutely worth the money!

This is my second juicer from Omega .. I brought this one specifically for juicing vegetables and I can't believe how dry the pulp is when expelled. I use the vertical one for mostly my citrus fruits and other types of fruit. So glad I made these purchases.

I previously owned the Omega 8005 but after 14 years and quite a bit of use, it just wasn't performing well anymore. I juice celery every day and the CNC80S Compact does a good job with this. The pulp is wetter than I would like, however, it produces about 48 oz of celery juice from approximately two and a half large bunches of celery. Like the 8005, it's easy to clean. Overall, I am satisfied with the value and performance of the this juicer.

This is my first cold press juicer. After owning the omega 1000 for the past 20+ years, I thought it was time for an upgrade Easy to use. Quick clean up. I juice every day and I am happy with this machine. Great value.

I've been using this juicer, at least, every other day since I received it. My staple juices are oranges, carrots, celery, ginger root and mango. I've found it to be better than I expected. As an aside, the crunching sound with the the crunchier fruits and vegetables makes me laugh. I'm easily entertained. It was recommended to me by a friend and I would definitely recommend it to someone who is serious about juicing on a regular basis.
