This Flatware set is heavy duty and great quality. They are noticeably more durable than sets that are not 18/10. We wanted a set that was 18/10 but not unreasonably expensive. This set has a simple and modern style that could fit well in any kitchen! They are comfortable to hold and well balanced. We have read some comments that people have seen rust spots. We have been careful not to let them sit in water and turned off the automatic heat dry on the dishwasher to take care of them as instructed. We haven't noticed any pieces rusting/tarnishing occurring.
This set is beautiful and high quality...except for the knives. I've owned them for 3 weeks and every single knife in the set has tiny rust spots. The forks and spoons are all maintaining their finish wonderfully and do not have rust spots. The knives are the only pieces in the set that do not have "18/10" printed on them and I'm wondering if the knives are not made of the same quality material as the other pieces. I have cared for the silverware exactly as described in the Oneida manual that came with the set so I know that it's not user error. It's a true shame because the design and quality of the other pieces are perfect and I doubt replacing the knives with a new set will change anything. I've called Bed Bath & Beyond and they told me to contact Oneida, which is what I'm currently in the process of doing. Overall, due to the poor quality of the knives, I wouldn't recommend this set. If that were not an issue, I'd have given it 5 stars.

I love this set, but friends have complained that they are too heavy. They come out of the dishwasher clean and shiny and look pretty on the table. It’s easy to confuse the butter knives and steak knives.

Disappointed that these are rusting after just 6 months of normal use. I’ve had cheap silverware last years without rusting so I expect more from a brand and price point such as this.

This was a gift. I've had my Oneida silverware for almost 50 years and it still looks good after constant daily use. The gift was well received and the style just right for a more contemporary vibe.

The weight and quality of this flatware is great. I bought this as a present for a family member who always has company. This flatware will definitely hold up to the high usage.

Have had these for a few weeks now and I am stating to notice rust spots popping up on the knives. There also isn’t much difference between the size of the teaspoons vs table spoons and same with both size forks.

The Flatware set is a GREAT weight and looks very nice. Well defined lines and NOT ornate - Just what I was looking for. On sale with the coupon made the cost very competitive. Shipping was as promised!
Bought this as a gift. My Oneida set still looks good after 45 years. This set appears to be of equal good quality and should last as long. The contemporary style suits my intended recipient and extra pieces can be purchased. I think Oneida is one of the better companies producing silverware. Good price with the Black Friday sales!
