Oneida® Otello 62-Piece Flatware Set

I love the simplicity of this everyday flatware. Although I have to agree with those who noted the teaspoon being disproportionate in size. This is true and is evident and undesirable. Otherwise, I really love this set and have had no problems with rust or any damage whatsoever. They have been run through the dishwasher for at least 6 months and washed by hand and left in water on occasion and have no issues with this wonderful everyday set. They still look beautiful. I love the weight of this set. Each piece is fairly weighty, especially the butter knife, though overall it works well. This set is great for a small family or couple. Buy two sets, if you have more than 3 or 4 using the set.

I received this as a gift. Even though a full hostess set is pictured on the box, it only has the full serving spoon and the pierced serving spoon. Meaning there is no sugar spoon, butter server, or serving fork. These are not even options as open stock pieces. So I'm disappointed. The flatware pieces look sturdy enough and are not gigantic in size, unlike most American flatware sets. Time will tell on their durability.

We ended up returning this set only because the small spoon was the length of my palm and all the handles were super thin. But if you have small hands, the weight is perfect and easy to grip. They were really pretty too. I wish flatware makers would realize not everyone has small hands.

Looks pretty, good price, but I have Oneida silverware with heavier handles and I prefer them. Teaspoons are disproportionately small.

The styling is simple but elegant and there is a great weight to each piece. I am really pleased.

Tired of having mix and match flatware, but I was looking for something simple and that felt good in the hand....balanced. I bought this still being unsure of what the end result might be. I was happily surprised. I didn't think it could compete with the old flatware that I loved so much but lost pieces of the set from various moves in the past. It has fared very well against the old stuff!! It's simple and well balanced and feels good in the hands. I also love the smaller spoons and forks in the set since I have little ones who are learning to use utensils. They can have flatware like the big people and I can get rid of the plastic baby spoons!!
