OttLite® LED Cone Desk Lamp

Have had this lamp for about 4 yrs. Really liked it and it served me well. Now the bulb is flickering. After some research, I have learned that the bulb is not replaceable by the consumer. So basically, I have to throw it out and buy again if I want to keep using the same lamp. What a waste! Would ratea 5 if I could replace the bulb.

Good size for bedside--bright and easy to direct the light where I need it.

I have had this light for over 6 months. My concern was how long the adjustable neck would last - holding the position that I set it. It's still going strong! I use it next to my sewing machines and often move the base and/or the neck to reposition it, depending on what I am sewing. I just wish the switch was on the base as I have to reach behind my sewing machine to turn it on or off as needed. I also like the the base area is small and doesn't get in the way or get moved by the project as I work.

I really wish BB&B would list the Kelvin -- I wouldn't have ordered this lamp in the first place, if I had that info. The lamp is crazy bright, but of the cheap motel room/fluorescent tube type. Also, it wasn't available near me (like 99% of the things I like at BB&B...) so I had it shipped. The box / padding was utterly inadequate, so the lamp ended up having several spots where the paint had rubbed off the base during shipping. Back it goes, and the search for a nice guest room lamp continues.

This lamp is great. The lighting is bright but not in a glaring way! Flexible arm allows endless directional lighting possibilities. Very pleased with this purchase!

I Have FINALLY Found a Lamp That Is Safe to Use and That I Works VERY Well PLUS This Lamp Is SUPERIOR to the Other Lamp That I Had Before This One ESPECIALLY Due to The Fact That The Other Lamp That I Had Before I Had Purchased This One Had Used an Incandescent Bulb That Had Let Out a Lot of Heat and Then All of The Sudden, The Next Time That I Turned On That Other Lamp That I Had Before Purchasing THIS One, Smoke Started to Come From It SO I Quickly Unplugged That Lamp and Then I EVENTUALLY Had Found This Lamp On The Internet and That Did Satisfy Me Because In The Description of It, I Saw The Word LED and Then I Finally DID Purchase That One and Then When I Had Received It, I Then Opened The Box and Then I Took It to My Room and Then Once I Plugged It In and Then Turned It On, I Became VERY SATISFIED Because It Is Adjustable, It Produces The NEEDED AMOUNT Light That I Need, and to me it does Not Really Give Off any Heat AT ALL and It Does NOT AT ALL Smoke so If Anyone Is Going To Purchase a Lamp or Any Other Kind of Light, Purchase LED Because LED Lighting Is Safer Than Any Other Kind of Lighting.

This lamp works well except that I wanted it on the top of my roll-top desk to light my computer keyboard. With the lamp so high the light was shining in my eyes. I made a 'visor' to shield the light, and direct it down onto the keyboard. This has worked well, and since it is an LED bulb I don't have to worry about it getting too hot.

Momma was very pleased with this light. Said it was the best thing since chalk paint. Momma happy, everyone happy.
