Had set less then a year….. one knife broke blade came out of handle

I bought these because I couldn't believe the good deal, but it did turn out to be too good to be true. They felt really cheap to begin with but I decided to give them a chance. After a few uses, they all started to rust. After 1 year, one the blades broke off the handle.

This is a solid set of knives for the kitchen; if only bought this set you would pretty much be set for basic cutting needs in food preparation. I am impressed with what I received.

Had this set for approximately 1 year, always washed by hand. Thanksgiving weekend while chopping vegetables the blade flew out of the handle with significant force. Very scary moment, the product is not made to last and is a safety concern.

Very scary experience, blade broke out of handle of the largest knife in the set while chopping vegetables, narrowly avoiding injury. We do not have a dishwasher so the knives have only been hand washed. Do not recommend, you get what you pay for in this case.

This knife set didn't come with knives. I opened the box, and all that was in there was the block. It checked the packaging to make sure it wasn't like a "knives not included" situation but it was definitely supposed to have knives. Very disappointed.

I was originally looking for a knife block for my husband on Amazon, and every single one had complaints about blades rusting or breaking, even if the majority of the reviews were 5 stars. This product didn't seem to have those kinds of reviews. I like the simplicity of it. They are all EXCEPTIONALLY sharp, I haven't really used the pairing knife yet, and we've been hand washing and soft cloth drying.
