I was raised by my grandmother who cooked frequently with cast iron dutch ovens. These ovens are solid quality. I'm disappointed to see so many comments with regard to rust on the lids and rims of the pot. This is not abnormal. The black portions on these lids are cast iron and cast iron is a metal and metals rust. However, if you "season" the metal after purchase and after each hand wash, the rusting is eliminated. All you have to do is to dab a small pastry brush in a small amount of vegetable oil and go around the rims of the lid and pot with the oil. Voila! No rust. So stop throwing away your dutch ovens over a little rust and enjoy the benefits of cooking in them!
I was very excited to receive Our Table Cast Iron Dutch Oven. I came is a gorgeous green and gold plating. Unfortunately, my excitement was short lived. I have only use 2 times and the rim has already rusted over. In the instruction it does specify "hand wash only" which I did. I called customer service and since my order was over the 90 days it is not able to be returned or exchanged. I would have liked an exchange for a new dutch oven due to mine being defective.

We do advise that all cast iron is susceptible rust if left exposed to water/moisture, and we recommend to hand-dry the item immediately after cleaning for best longevity of the Dutch Oven. After the 2nd used there were several large pieces of enamel that chipped. I've never had this happen before and have used dutch ovens for many years. What is the "limited lifetime warranty" they claim it has? There is no information of that in the product listing.

I had this maybe a month. While I was sautéing something, the enamel popped right off exploding into the food and out of the pan! I couldn’t find my receipt and bbb wouldn’t take it back!
I was SO excited to get this pot. A friend of mine has one and i knew i needed one. It was delivered with a chip on the lid and I’m so upset about it

Love to use it...great color. Can cook just about anything in it.
I used this for third time and look what happened. Pretty but bad quality, is a shame and I was recommend to friends. It is a shame. I want my money back.
Did not even use the product! I just removed it from the box and washed it and towel dried it and next day it is rusted around the top lid and rim! Now what do I do with an unused rusted Dutch oven and no box to return it with?
I purchased this Dutch oven almost exactly one year ago. Yesterday, while making soup, the enamel on the inside started chipping right into the food. I had to throw everything away. The pot is now useless. This is not worth the price as I would expect it to last more than a year. Don’t buy it.
