I just got a Harvest Right freeze dryer, and this spatula is PERFECT for removing food from the freeze dryer trays after the freeze drying process is complete. The spatula fits the width of my medium freeze dryer trays exactly. It is very sturdy, made with nylon that does not scratch my trays. The stainless steel handle is nice and long and curved at just the right angle. It even has a lip to keep the food from sliding off.
I love this size and it works for cookies, pancakes and crepes so well.
spatula is too flimsy - burgers flop off
This is larger than jumbo! Very nicely made, but laughably much larger. More like a jumbo cookie shovel. Bought for a wedding shower gift.
Yes I use this for my jigsaw puzzles , whenever I make small sections I slide it on this spatula and move it to where it goes into the section of the puzzle I want. I will buy another one for cookies. This has a nice slim edge that makes sliding under my puzzle pieces a breeze ! Imagine what it will do for you in the kitchen !
I love having this size spatula!! It removes many cookies from the pan at one time. I use it for so many other things too like removing a big size portion of a leftover food item from its baking pan into the container to store in the fridge as a leftover. I even bought it for a a friend because I love it so much and wanted someone else to enjoy the use of it too.
