Like several comments already, the color was maybe avocado toast, but not what is pictured. The glazing in general is simply poorly done, and perhaps that is why the color is off. The upsetting part is that I waited a year for this to be available and they shipped a product that they know has issues. Bad form Bed Bath & Beyond.

I have two other colors that are lovely (sea salt and truffle). The Toast was to add the perfect trio but not as advertised. It is a sick ugly sage color, not the light brownish color shown. Very disappointed as my trio of colors has been reduced to a duo.

I love the look and feel of these dishes. Very satisfied with my purchase.
Bought two sets and going back. Color is not the beautiful toasty tan color as shown it’s more of a sage barfy green. Further, the edges along the bottom of dishes are rough and chipped - these dishes would easily scratch any nice wood surface or other dishes.
I ordered two sets of these dishes - one in pepper and one in toast. The pepper color is a beautiful black, and looks just like it did in store, but the toast color is terrible, at least compared to what it’s advertised as. I remember it being a beautiful warm tan in store, but the set that arrived looks almost green. I’m going to exchange it for the grey or white set because I don’t trust that the color will be much better if I get another set. Such a bummer, but it is what it is.

I have been waiting a really long time for this set to get back in stock. Ever so often I would check the website to see if they were in. I almost gave up.. I decided to check one more time and they were in stock. I immediately ordered 2 sets and they came in today. They are EXACTLY what I wanted! I couldn't be happier.
