I really like this bowel, it's much nicer than in the BBB photo, maybe they'll update it. It's almost charcoal gray, just slightly on the cool side. I don't think most people will notice that. Mine has some speckles in the glaze that I'm not sure are intentional. Take a look at my photo. That said, it's a nice weight, shape and size. I like the clean simple design. It would work in most design styles; since it's heavy pottery it would fit into a country style home, with its simple shape and dark gray glaze, it would fit into a modern or midcentury style home too. I think it would make a nice serving dish.
My husband and I saw this set and were in love. That didn’t last long and we returned everything. The color started to disappear from our plates. We had left a few pieces of cilantro on the plate overnight and the color was removed. It was literally white. Very disappointed because we loved the look and feel of these.

Literally washed one time and already all the color is coming off. What a joke. Would never recommend to anyone e
This were a wedding present and We just opened them 6 days ago after we moved into our new house. Within 6 days plates have broken or chipped. I had hoped these would be better because they look amazing. But they are like not meant to be used to eat on. If your utensils touch them, they leave a mark. If food touches then the color changes, if they touch your granite countertop, they are a goner.

This bowl makes the ideal pasta bowl or salad plate. It washes well in the dishwasher & has a nice finish. It is microwave safe, although I haven't used it in the microwave. Love the shape & the way they stack together. Great addition.

I like the style of these dishes because of the high lips on the plates. They have a bit of heft to them which I thought would make them durable. Unfortunately, these dishes scratch with normal use of utensils and they are so loud! I wish I hadn't gotten rid of my previous dishes because these are the worst I've ever had.

Couple of dishes broke right out of the dishwasher. Other thing is the cutlery sounds like nails in a chalkboard. Would like the dishes replaced

The quality of the dishes is nice, but they look absolutely nothing like the photo. I chose Truffle, which is supposed to be grey. These are black. I ordered 2 sets...first set was picked up from the store and I actually thought I got the wrong color, despite the box saying Truffle. When the other set was delivered (they were out of stock at the store, so the 2nd set was ordered for shipment), they were also black. Super disappointed, but didn't feel like taking the time to return them. They weren't cheap, so I spent a lot of money for something that isn't at all what I wanted. BOTH boxes were marked Truffle and looked like their Pepper color.
The finish on the dishes looks nice but scratches easily and while eating makes unpleasant noises likes nails on a chalk board. I’ve had the set for 8months and one dish is chipped and several plates have scratch marks. I would not recommend.

I love the modern and simple design of this plate, it looks so clean when the table is set. They are pretty heavy so I have to be careful when putting them away, I feel like they could chip if I don’t set them onto another plate gently.
