They work well but scissor-action is a little too loose for my liking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These lovely Salad/Buffet Tongs are not like plastic tools. They are fashionable & sturdy, fit like scissors in your hand. Great for green or fruit salads. It was wonderful when we had a buffet brunch for picking up fruit, pastries, bagels, bacon, sausage and French toast. They clean up beautifully in the dishwasher! Everyone that has seen and/or used has commented on them. I recommend purchasing a couple or several!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice looking set of tongs to use when serving a salad. They do feel a little wobbly/loose - I wish there was a way to tighten them, but I couldn't figure it out. The pair I received also had some plastic still around the round connecting piece (whatever it's called). Not a huge deal, but annoying to remove. Overall, a decent everyday pair of tongs to use but nothing fancy.

When I received these, I was very impressed by how shiny and appealing they looked. After using them for a few weeks, I’m unable to recommend them. The material is beautiful, size is nice, but the handles are deeply uncomfortable. They press into my hands uncomfortably when I’m serving. The insides of the finger holes are very rough.

The design is beautiful, the metal is shiny, it’s big enough to grab food when serving without feeling oversized. But, the handles are no good. The handles are minimalist but the edges are hard instead of rounded and hurt to hold. The inside edge is badly finished and rough on my hands. I was disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These salad tongs are lovely. They have a high shine finish and would go nicely with either formal or casual dining. They open and close well without that normal snag you can sometimes get with salad tongs. They also wash well and don’t end up with spots as some metals tend to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little disappointed by these salad tongs. On a positive note, the tongs are made from a good quality stainless. They are appear very solid. Unfortunately, that was the best thing about them. There was plastic wrapping embedded in the bolt. I was unable to remove it...even with tweezers. They tongs aren't put together very well. They seemed "wobbly" making it difficult to actually pick up salad. Finally, the finger grips were rather small. It would be difficult for someone with larger hands to actually use these tongs.
