Our Table™ Maddox Mirror Soup Ladle

Ladle is very nice. It’s sturdy and has a good color to it. My only recommendation is to make the handle a little bit longer. I look forward to using it for all the soups and gumbo in the future. Price is a bonus!

I've been looking for a ladle for some time and am so glad to have found this one. It's extremely, extremely sturdy and feels very solid in your hand. I love the mirror design, as it looks very high-end and well-made. It's the perfect size as well; not too big, but not too small either.

This ladle is so shiny and seems sturdy. It’s not really heavy but if used for punch it won’t float up. The handle where you hold it is pretty light but the bottom part has a little bit of weight. It feels pretty expensive. I wish the handle was a longer but I still like it.

I've been wanting to get a stainless steel soup ladle to replace the cheap plastic ones I normally buy. I find that plastic ones usually start to discolor rather quickly and I have embarrassingly burnt and melted more than I care to admit by accidentally leaving it leaning in the pot. With a stainless steel ladle I don't have to worry about either of those problems anymore. This ladle is easy to clean, as shiny as a mirror, and melt proof! It feels very sturdy and substantial without feeling too heavy in the hand. It has a wide and deep mouth that holds a lot of liquid. My only critique, which has more to do with my carelessness, is that I wish the handle had a silicone grip to prevent it from getting too hot if you end up leaving it in the pot of hot or boiling liquid. When selecting this product I wish I had seen more information about it's size. While it is comparable in size to other soup ladles I have bought before, it's handle is slightly shorter which means your hand ends up closer to hot liquid. All in all it's a very beautiful ladle and does what it's designed to do.

I was pleasantly surprised with the weight and quality of this soup ladle! Although you could use this in your every day cooking, it's weight and super shiny mirror finish gives it a nice premium feel. I would set this out for a family dinner party for a bit of "fancy." I've used it for my soups and it just feels nice, sturdy and I know I could let it hang in the soup for a bit without it falling down. It cleans easily and goes right back to that nice mirror finish.

This ladle is really nice! Perfect for serving soup out of a tureen at your holiday dinner. The finish is shiny and feels like a substantial weight in your hand. The handle is probably not long enough to use for ladling soup out of a stock pot, so be sure the 12" size meets your need. I liked it so much that I purchased the matching gravy ladle.

When I first received it, I was super excited to have a metal ladle instead of a silicone one. It did feel a little short but once I used it a couple times, I realized the height was perfect and didn’t need to be any longer. However, the ladle did get scratched the very first time I used it. Not sure how but that was disappointing.

This is a lovely utensil to add to your collection. As soon as you pick it up you notice it is a sturdy heavier weighted piece which lends one to think it is of quality. I like that it is a shiny metal and not dull in color.
