Our Table™ Marble Rolling Pin

I bought this item because my old marble rolling pin rolled off the counter and shattered. This one comes with a wooden "stand" that keeps it in place when not in use. The rolling pin is quite a bit heavier than my previous one, even though they have the same circumferance. Might be useful for tough dough, but it is harder to handle on more delicate cookie dough.

If you are rolling out pie crusts and or dough this is your winners the even weight with the marble pin ale your dough playable and without lumps.

Rolling pin has a chip in the marble. There is not a place on this website to contact the company about the defective item.

What a surprise I got when I opened the box. I needed to get a rolling pin for another purpose other than baking and I am thrilled that the weight of it, rolling across the muscles in my leg, relieve the tension in them without having to bear down on the pin. I have to actually not let it go full weight on some of them, I am rehabbing my knee from a Quadriceps Tendon repair and it is worth what I paid for it since it was on clearance and under 6 dollars, I can use it for both baking and massaging.

Very nice and heavy marble. Nice wooden holder. Giving to my daughter for Christmas.

Do not buy this rolling pin. The wood rod through the pin is so warped that you could never roll pastry evenly due to the up/down with the warped pin. The wood on the handles does not look like in the photo. It is unfinished and a very uneven and unattractive darker brown. It would not be comfortable with using a rough wood handles. I ordered online and picked up in store. All 3 in store had the marble chipped and the pins were warped. I was issued a refund. Don't buy this sight unseen, it is junk.

The roller looked dirty or stained. The bottom where the slide pads are were dingy. Also, the roller itself was broken. There was a large ridged crack all the way around the bottom. It looked like it may have been a returned that they sent. Plus they shipped it will a other items that were breakable like a cake stand. This item is top heavy to ship with other items.

I ordered this marble rolling pin, and even with it being on clearance it STILL WAS NOT WORTH IT. Where was their quality control on this???? The wooden base was in horrible shape as was the rolling pin. Did I mention, the handles were not even the same. They were very rough with one long and thin handle and the other was short and fat. I wouldn't have kept it for myself let alone give as a gift. I ordered because the one in the store was in terrible shape (I thought because it was on display that its shape was so bad) and they did not have any more in the store to buy. But I was soooo wrong. The ordered one was just as bad. It went back to the store so fast! I cannot believe BB&B would have ever shipped this to anyone! It did not come in its own box, so whoever wrapped it and put in shipping box should have been able to see how absolutely bad it was. Again, where was quality control when this passed through?? On the plus side, it came super fast and was wrapped very well. On the down side, besides its terrible shape that I already mentioned, it did not need to come in a box 10-15 times bigger than the product. Giant box for small item. If I could have, I would have given zero stars. I would not recommend this rolling pin at all.
