It was a very nice gravy boat, nice size to hold a lot of gravy for a crowd. I did end up returning as I like to serve spaghetti sauce for a crowd and I didn't think the ground beef tomato sauce would fit through the pour spout hole.

I wanted an understated gravy boat that was round instead of long and narrow. This was perfect. It held more than enough gravy to serve six people several times. A simple, elegant design and shape, and a good weight. You can pour or use a ladle.
