I was afraid at first, with all of the bad comments, then I seasoned the first pan and it passed the trial. With stainless steel you have to put oil in the pans and then let them heat until the steam comes up . After that you can use the pan perfectly.
We bought this during 2021 thanksgiving. We started using the small pot and the stainless steel caps of the handles came off and was in our food. Thankfully, we found it before serving the food. Thinking it was an isolated instance, we started using another pot - same thing happened and the cap came off on this one in 2 months. Luckily, in both instances, the small stainless caps were found before we consumed the food. After several calls and texts with BBB, they took no responsibility for a product that they sold and gave me their vendors name (no phone number) and told me to contact them directly. Google shows the vendor is based in Hong Kong with no US contact numbers listed. Needless to say, we are disappointed with the quality of the product and more disappointed with the BBB service!

I have wanted a pot like this for a while now and I am so happy to finally have one! i love that this pot also has a steamer basket with a handle.
