I purchased this set the same time I purchased another 3 piece set of OXO wooden spoons. I recently bought some coated pots and baking pans which need to be protected from scratches and these have been a good choice. They are easy to handle which makes them useful for mixing and serving cakes as well as stirring items in pans on the stove top. The two spoons also make great servers for salads. Definitely multi-purpose so I keep them in a crock next to my mixer and close to my stove top and oven. They also could be hung from a rack.
I wanted to really like these. They're substantial in the hand and very attractive. But I've only been using these for a few weeks, and the end of the flat spatula, which I've used the most, has already started to split in several places. We've only washed this by hand, and never left it soaking in water. Very disappointed.

These are larger than I thought they might be, They are thick, full, and quite durable. I hope they last longer than our other ones that split and cracked so quickly.
I found these utensils to be big and clunky -- I have small hands (5' tall). The worse part... I have a difficult time washing them after cooking. The smell of food lingers, like it's baked in the wood... weird! I have resorted to soaking them with Dawn Powerwash for a long time. And still... the odor lingers.
Heavy duty quality product.
I found these to be too large and the wood was not smooth.
All of OXO products are great and sturdy. Glad this was available.
I can't say how these performed, because I returned them...They are very large and bulky.
A great set of wooden utensils. Sturdy and substantial. Just what I was looking for.
