Seeing the previous review, I had to create an account to write a review for this product. I received this as a wedding gift over three years ago, use it on a daily basis, and have had no problem whatsoever with it! I love it!! It is so handy and helpful. My mother-in-law even commented on it when she saw me use it, and said she was jealous- so here I am buying her the exact one for mother's day! I would definitely recommend!
I have many of the Oxo products, and generally find them better quality and easier to handle than comparable products. This product has two areas of concern: 1. The cutting blades are VERY sharp - you have to be very careful getting the apple slices out from between the blades after cutting. The sharpness of the blades sometimes makes it difficult to clean well. 2. As another reviewer said, it broke. Where the blade is molded into the side of the cutter, it split. The cost is not that high to get another one, but I may look at another product since I have to replace this one.

I was looking for an easy apple slicer and this xox brand is fantastic! The rubber grip handles keep it from slipping and you get the perfect snack cut up in seconds.

We had an older version of this item, which we loved, but eventually it got a bit dull. This new one is perfect--sharp and easy to use.
Our household love apples, and this tool helps prep so quick and easy. Easy to rinse as well. This tool is also helpful when we bake apple pies.

I like using this all in one Apple corer and slicer because it has rubber grip handles making it easier to use than others on the market.

Exactly what was needed to make apple muffins!
The apple slicer works just fine, however I need my husband to use it as I'm not strong enough.
My last one was 10 years old. wasn't as sharp anymore and was starting to break. So I bought the same one. The design and the construction are still the same. Should get another ten years out of it.
I can't be sure but the center hole seems to be slightly bigger than my old one. --I am talking a mm or two. Anyway it works better than my old one. --maybe it's just sharper.
