I can't believe I went without one of these for so long! I used this to ice a cake for the first time the other day and it iced the cake so much faster and easier than a regular knife or spatula. It also turned out looking much more professional in the opinion. This is a must have for icing cakes or even cupcakes!
I ordered this thinking it was small enough to ice cupcakes. It is very large and would only be used to ice a cake. The spatula end is approximately 6 inches long by one inch wide. The handle is comfortable-- feels like all other OXO products. It is probably a great tool for cake, just not the same product I was looking for. Dimensions would make the online description much more clear.

Found one of these at a thrift store. Used it all the time. Frustrated that it seemed to be in the dishwasher most of the time, I ordered 2 more. So simple, yet so useful.
Great for icing cakes, handle not very good.

Great for icing and even freeing pizzas off pan and the rustic apple pie. Very handy tool to have in the kitchen
Too many times i have found myself needed an offset spatula. Glad I was able to find one here
