Very comfortable, durable, and dishwasher safe! What else could you ask for? Been using these for a year and I have no complaints. Very happy I ignored some of the negative reviews and got these!
I'm browsing BB&B for another can opener and came across the one I previously purchased here. I'm not sure how long a can open is SUPPOSED to last but I'd think it'd be more than 2 years. My OXO can opener rusted where the round hole is (pictured to the left) and all along the teeth and in a line where the two sides meet. I always hand wash and dry it before putting it away. Rust on teeth where it opens the can...no thanks. I wouldn't recommend.

Just a solid can opener. Idk how OXO does it but they always seem to make everyday items just a tad bit better and more easy to use. Does the job well!

I usually find Oxo Good Grips to be a decent brand of inexpensive kitchen tools. This one however is a disaster. It mangled the can edge (bends it out of round) often binds and won’t continue around the can requiring one to pierce the can with opener in tiny increments . Even more useless on a can that isn’t round. It is headed for garbage can as soon as I find one that will actually open a can. I bought this in a Bed Bath and Beyond retail store.
So easy to open cans of food - as you’d expect from OXO Good Grips :-)
Good product, but not as well made as old opener. The handle knob is plastic where the older model had a rubberized knob--harder for arthritic hands to operate.

This can opener does not work well at all. When attempting to open a can with it, it left about 3 spots that weren't cut and made it difficult to open the can. I would not buy this product again or recommend it to anyone.
Easy to use. Real s.John and doesn't hurt my thumbs s!
These can openers are awesome at 1st but after a year they really dull out and makes it very difficult to open up a can.
