Easy to clean and fairly lightweight. Good size for holiday pie transportation.
Not at all what I wanted it for. It only protects the top of the pie from damage, period. There are four 2 inch by 1/4 open slots across the lid. No good for refrigeration or freezing any pie. I will need to wrap the pie in plastic or foil or freezer paper underneath the lid to keep in in either place. Am hoping the glass will be sturdier than the current easily broken Pyrex. I read the reviews the one I counted on about needing no plastic wrap is a LIE, BOGUS REVIEW. Shame on BBB and Oxo. One or the other paid this person for a false review. I will no longer read your reviews when wanting to make a purchase.

Nice that it’s easy to order
I make my own cream pies with lots of toppings & haven't been able to find a to-go container for family reunions & other events. This is going to be great.
I drove 20 miles one way to pick this pie pan up based on my search for an 11" pie pan. This came up in the search and I was thrilled. When I got to the store, I realized that this is a 9" pie pan. I asked a salesperson and he said they don't have 11" pie pans so I showed him the website description: "Measures 11" diameter x 4.3" H" I was assured the website would be updated but thought I'd leave this so no one else does the same thing. Had I looked at the customer pics, I would have seen 9" but I shouldn't have to do that. BBB should have the correct size on their description.
I can make the prettiest pies in this pan and the cover is nice to keep the pie free from getting anything in it while sitting out, but it's vented, so the crust doesn't get soggy. The pie didn't stick in the pan either. I am impressed by this pie pan.
bought 2 but one came with a crack lid. using one for a pie for xmas. the other I will send back.
I wanted a pie plate with lid I could store quiche or pies in, but write up didn't say there were 4 holes in the lid... now it's not airtight and would allow odors from fridge in to the pie. Unhappy with this. Plus can't even use the lid as a microwave cover as it says don't put in microwave. I'll have to cover the whole thing with cling film like I would if I bought a cheaper pie dish, grrrrrr
Thanksgiving is the time of year when all the pie recipes get a workout by my family. Unfortunately none of us has restaurant size refrigerators so the covers on these pies lets us keep them fresh in the frig. When they are out on the table the feline members can’t walk across them !
This container is just right for storing pie, and only pie. The top is perpetually vented which is good for pie storage, but not other things like certain tarts which require more of a sealed container.
