OXO Good Grips® Ice Cube Tray with Lid

I have always used ice cube trays that are open and I end up spilling water on the way from the sink to the freezer. These trays are great and I end up with full size ice cubes

My icemaker is kaput but I didn't want to pay to replace it. These ice cube trays got great reviews, and they live up to the hype. Much easier to pop out the ice than other trays we tried. The covers are great if you're short on space and need to stack them.

Not sure why this set I bought here has lids that always freeze making it extremely difficult to remove, whereas the same brand/type purchased elsewhere do not freeze.

These make smaller cubes than traditional trays. Regarding all the reviews saying they come out SO easy... they do but ONLY if you do not use the cover. They are super hard to come out if you use the cover or if you just lay the cover on top so you can layer another tray above it to freeze. Even though I use less water in the one I will cover, I still find them hard to release. My traditional trays work better and those can stack without a cover...these will not, These will fall into each other if you don't use the cover in between trays.

These are wonderful ice cube trays. They seal up nicely and are a good size tray.

They’re space savers. I also liked the shape of the ice. The lid gets stuck. It has to be out for about a minute before it slides off.

Have small freezer/refrigerator. These covered ice trays make it easier to maximize space.

The ice comes out so easily because of the rounded design.
