OXO Good Grips® Long Reach Dusting System in White/Red

I bought this thinking all the heads were microfiber, but found that only one was and the others are just nylon brush, which are good for nothing but scattering dust etc. I will be returning and have ordered something else.

The pole is not stable when you attempt to use it in a 180° angle. The dusting cloth matted after 1st use and did not change after washing. A waste of money.

Based on my previous positive experiences with this brand I decided to buy it. I have very high ceilings so I needed a long and adjustable dusting system. The first one lasted a couple of months before breaking. Then I bought the second one and same story (well, actually this is untrue, since it broke after a couple of weeks!)... The top part is too weak and unstable! Almost a 100 bucks to the trash! I'm beyond disappointed~

1. The "locking" mechanism to extend the pole did not work. The pole kept sliding downward. The failure of the pole extension lock defeated the entire purpose of the purchase. However, the locking mechanism to change the angles of the dusters worked as advertised. 2. The dusters for the ceiling blade fans and the corners of the wall just pushed the dust around, unlike the longer duster. The longer duster is performing to my expectation. Those factors caused me to return the product.

All of the OXO gadgets that I've purchased over the years have been fantastic -- well-engineered, simple to use, long lasting -- until I got this brush assembly. The big disappointment was the fan blade brush -- too stiff to get over the fan blade, particularly when maneuvering with the extended wand to reach a ceiling fan hung from a very high ceiling. I bought the assembly with the intention of cleaning some hanging lights (high ceiling in the entry hall), and the long, fluffy attachment did an OK job. But again, using the soft, fluffy attachment left me wondering about the design. I couldn't figure out how to get the fluffy attachment off for cleaning after use. I'm sure there's a way, but I didn't want to damage it in the process of getting it off. It's supposed to be machine washable.

Makes it easy to clean ceiling fans.

The most useful attachment (the soft one) is undersized. The other attachments are corse and weird. They are like toilet scrub brush material. I purchased mine in January and was supposed to get a BBB $10 gift card. It’s April and I still have not received any gift card.

I don’t have to take out the step stool to clean my ceiling fans and I have 6 of them. It just makes cleaning everything so much easier. I love it.
