OXO Good Grips® POP 2.8 qt. Square Short Food Storage Container

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy to have discovered this OXO POP Container. It is perfect for my brown sugar, finally no more hard brown sugar! You can use it for many things, but I love keeping my brown sugar in it. Easy to use, put product in, push lid on, and then push the pop top to secure in place. Easy to push again to unlock and open back up. I would recommend and will be purchasing several of these.

I recently bought four of these containers in different sizes for flour, sugar, icing sugar, and brown sugar. Happy with them generally except it isn’t airtight enough to store the brown sugar. My brown sugar got so hard I had to chip at it to break it up and throw it out. I am now using a ziploc bag inside the container to keep my brown sugar workable.

As some may or may not know, OXO recently changed the design of these containers, and they are no longer as good as they once were. The new design slims everything down, including a complete redesign of the lids. Slimming the containers is great, but these lids are no longer air tight and food goes stale quickly. You’re better off using a ziplock bag. OXO needs to swap the kids back to the older design that wouldn’t slide out when you hold the lid. These wouldn’t be effective even if they were $3 each.

This is an awesome product and I typically use them to keep my food fresh and preserve it longer. I would highly recommend!

I've had these for a 7 years and they are i perfect shape. I even washed them i. The dishwasher and they are good as new. I love that i am able to keep my pantry organized and in order.

Great product, seals well and keeps food fresh

I have been using this for brown sugar which always has an issue with getting hard if not in the correct container and this has been perfect. I love the pop top because you know it’s sealed and can’t be removed. It’s very sturdy and the material holds up very well!
